Adhering to MTO standards, the course package consists of 40 hours:
- 20 hours In-class training
- 10 hours of Home link
- 10 hours of In-Car training
Certification of completion is only granted after successful completion of the above training.
20 Hours of In-Classroom Training covers the following content:
- Traffic Laws and Regulations
- Three Levels of Traffic Laws
- Rules of the Road
- The Vehicle and its Components
- Safe and Proper Pre-trip Checks
- Perception and Risk Management
- Visual Search and Scanning to Detect Potential Hazards
- Different Types of Drivers
- Personal, Social, Legal and Economic Consequences
- Adverse Conditions
- Vehicle Malfunctions
- Dealing with Distractions/ Driving Action to Minimize Risk
- Seasonal Changes and Road Surfaces/ Traction/ Friction
- Impairment Driving
- Sharing the Road/ Appropriate Communication with other Road Users
10 hours of home link are also included in the 20 hours of In-classroom training and is mandatory to be conmpleted.

- Stop Signs—All Way Stops
- 2-Point, 3-Point, U-turn
- Parallel & perpendicular Parking

- Decision Making & Common Sense
- Expressways (Freeways), Country Roads
In-car training will be scheduled in accordance with your availability, free pick up and drop off at your home for in-car lessons are provided (*Within 10kms radius of driving school).
Certification of completion is granted after successful completion of the above training.
BDE Graduates may be eligible for an insurance discount.
Waiting Periods to take your G1 and G2 Road test is reduced.
